Forecast said we were supposed to get snow Wednesday with Thursday being a potential powder day. Went up Tuesday afternoon in hopes that this one panned out. Yup...it delivered! Pics below...
Wednesday started pretty warm, but as the morning went on, the storm rolled in. Just before noon, the snow started. Yay!!!!
Woke up Thursday morning, and found this on WP's webcam!!
Left early; got to Jane at 8:15, and was 2nd row in Corona. Got in line for the Gauge at 8:35, and was *still* outside the corral.
Did a lap down the Columbine trees, hoping Pano was open, but to no avail. (although the snow was great!!!) Decided to ditch the crowds and head to pioneer. Along the way, I had to do the HiLo trees:
No lines (yet) at Pioneer. Had this waiting for me at Aces...
Had to do more trees; tried Buckaroo, but they weren't quite ready. Jumped in between Stagecoach and Sundance, and found these:
Lines then got crazy at Pioneer, so I did some Jane laps, and then decided to try the secret mid-line into the switchyard trees.
Finally, to close out the day, I had to go find Topher's Skis.
